Escape to Hua Hin (flood victims)

We are in Hua Hin, refugees victimized by the greatest flood of Thailand.  Our mother's house in Pathumthani is inundated, water level is about 3-metre high (that's double my height!!!)

Luckily (yes, we're still lucky) we decided to move out 2 weeks before the flood hit.  All 3 people (my mother, my sister, and myself) and 10 something dogs and 8 cats are now safe in Hua Hin (3-hour south of BKK).  Many people chose to stay behind on their upper floor.  I wonder how they're going to go on for at least another 4-6 weeks.  As far as I know, electricity and running water services are now stopped.

I hope by the time flood water recedes the house wouldn't crumble down.  But for sure, there will be a lot to do.

I'll end the note with the beautiful yellow-coloured house of mom's, still dry then.  I wish I could go in to take a picture of the house being flooded.  That will be tough though.

Until then.  Take best care :)
